  1. maintain the lawns and greenspace at the John Harper Branch of the Library

    Have you seen it? Have you seen the plethora of allergy-inducing weeds and other noxious plants that surround the library? Please clean it up.

  2. Allow users to upload images to a gallery for people to see

    The site should have a gallery that allows users to post images of our great city. Perhaps make a contest for the best image.

  3. Casino email

    In Waterloo, officials are getting public feedback by phone and email. A dedicated email address has been set up to gather comments and councillors have also heard personally from constituents.

    Feedback so far indicates there’s little interest in the casino, let alone a referendum, councillors say.

    “I have not received one email in favour of the casino,” Coun. Scott Witmer said. “I’ve heard from a very broad sector of the public, from younger people to people with school-aged children to seniors.”

    I thought that the dedicated survey site was our only method of providing feedback about the casino. I know…

  4. have a website and community portal accessible to everyone

    I suggest have a website and social network accessible and user friendly to everyone similar to my hometown of Chatham Kent. which can be found at www.chatham-kent.ca and the social network at http://inck.ca/. I also encourage you to consider rebranding. Credibility online is very important. Your website, blog, and if you choose to do a social network, it all needs to be on one site.

  6. Correct/update the voting lists

    My 2 adult sons have not lived at our address for at least 7 years and yet both remain on the Waterloo voters list. I tried to rectify this when my wife and I voted this past week but the person in charge of the polling station had no concrete ideas on how to correct the list and told us that her adult daughter, no longer living with her, was also on the list and received a voting slip at her actual address in Kitchener as well. So, anyone in the latter situation could vote twice in different municipal elections.…

  7. Parent Resour

    I would suggest adding Children & Youth Clubs to the Parent and Resource category of Clubs or Organizations OR add a Children & Youth club as an additional category.
