  2. Provide Open Data

    The city should make all municipal data available for download and reuse. This will make city operations more transparent, accountable, and effective, as well as allowing others to access data and make value-added services from this. Numerous cities across Canada (Ottawa, Edmonton, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal) have had great success with making data of all types open. Take a look at the City of Edmonton initiative and think of what Waterloo could provide: https://data.edmonton.ca/

  4. We should be able to add suggestions even if run out of votes

    I like many of the ideas suggested by others here. But after I voted to support them, I found out that I couldn't suggest ideas of my own. How dumb is that! Voting and suggesting should be independent activities.

  5. Would like to have Calendar of Events

    The calendar of events page will allow users to see upcomming events that are happening in the area. Videos, images of the event could be shown to showcase what the event is about.
